Corgi is bringing together two much-loved British icons with the recent release of its limited edition Spike Milligan Mini.
The ‘Mini Milligan’ is a limited Argos exclusive, consisting of only 2,000 pieces, and comes with a limited numbered certificate.
The 1:36 scale model of the classic Mini, based on the last car owned by the famous comedian and Mini enthusiast, Spike Milligan, also comes with a brief history providing fans with details of Milligan and his beloved Mini, still owned by his daughter, Jane, herself an accomplished actress.
Jane feels that the new model is a fitting tribute to her father and commented: “Dad had a real passion for those little cars and it’s a wonderful tribute to him that Corgi have been able to reproduce his last Mini in such great detail. “
Milligan’s daughter, Sile, agrees adding: “It’s lovely that Dad's last Mini has been turned into an eternal memory by Hornby”.
The Limited edition Corgi models are priced at £19.99 and exclusively available through Argos stores.
