| Thomas Harrington started building horse-drawn wagons at his Brighton premises at the end of the 19th century. Due to the increased popularity of the motorcar in the 20th century, a new era of haulage vehicles was required. Harrington, based on a strong pedigree of quality, and well-designed bodies, started to produce horseboxes for railway companies before the pre nationalisation of the railways in Britain. |
