For the 50th anniversary year of the BBMF, Corgi has released a collection of models ranging across the BBMF fleet. Spitfire XT-D, Hurricane YB-W and Lancaster Phantom of the Ruhr have all been immortalised in a 1:72nd scale 3 piece set. Hurricane ‘Night Reaper’ has also been modelled in 1:32nd scale. Both releases are limited edition and include an in-depth story booklet including rare archive photographs. For 2008, Corgi will also be introducing a range of Collection models which depict the Spitfire, Lancaster, Hurricane and Dakota from the BBMF in a ‘fit the box’ scale.
