| The Evening Standard is a British tabloid regional newspaper published and sold in London and surrounding areas of southeast England. It was founded in 1827 and currently has a circulation of more than 250,000. The Daily Mirror was launched on 2 November 1903 by Alfred Harmsworth as a newspaper for women. It was not a success, and in 1904 Alfred decided to turn it into a pictorial newspaper. The re-launched Mirror rapidly established itself with a circulation of more than 500,000 and is to date, the only British national paper to have consistently supported the Labour Party since 1945. Estimated release date 15th December |
