Pollock Scotrans Ltd has been in business since 1935 when William Pollock bought his first lorry. William’s son Ian is now the chairman but the day-to-day operation is in the hands of the third generationof the Pollock family with Ian’s sons Scott and Fraser running the business. Over the years the company has grown to become a significant player in transport and logistics with a fleet of around 100 vehicles and substantial warehousing facilities. The fleet is mainly made up of top of the range 44 tonne tractor units from Scania, Volvo, DAF, Mercedes-Benz and MAN. Although the company ran a handful of Renaults in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s, the marque has only recently made a return to the fleet. The Corgi model is the first Renault Magnum 6X2 tractor unit to enter service and carries the registration number S88 PSL with fleet number 90. Appropriately, its fleet name is ‘Fleur D’Ecosse’ and its tartan tag is ‘Flower of Scotland’. MODEL COMING SOON.
