| PDL 27, registration number X 527 GGO is part of a batch of vehicles delivered new, from Plaxton Scarborough in December 2000 for operation on TffL route 289. This is based at the Arriva London Beddingdon Farm garage (code CN) in Beddington Farm Road, Croydon. As delivered the bus was in Arriva red livery with cream “cow horns”. The bus is a 10.7 m. length Dennis Dart SLF fitted with Plaxton Pointer 2 bodywork, equipped with a Cummins Euro 2 engine and regenerating exhaust particulate trap. The bus has individual seats for 31 passengers with 27 standees OR 22 standees with one wheelchair. The wheelchair ramp is located at the centre door.
