Olivers Transport Ltd originally operated from a small base in Kirk Yethom with one vehicle, later moving to rented space on an industrial estate in Kelso, by this time operating six vehicles and employing five drivers until 1982 when they moved to their current 5 acre site at Eccles, five miles east of Kelso. The Company currently operates over 25 vehicles and employ more than 30 people and their operations include livestock haulage, storage and general haulage. Release date: September 2007
