"When Corgi Premiums asked if we would like to commission a model of the East Yorkshire bus which we painted last year in 'Tigers' livery as a gesture of support for Hull City - just promoted to the Premier League for the first time in its 104 year history - I liked the idea and knowing the popularity of previous East Yorkshire bus models and with Tigers supporters as an additional source of sales I decided to give it a go. As a bus enthusiast and model collector myself I know the quality of the Corgi product and this was confirmed by the initial drawings and the pre-production model.
