Hornby sign worldwide licence with preschool hit - Grandpa in my Pocket!

Hornby Hobbies Limited has signed a worldwide licence with Adastra Creative Limited, the entertainment company behind the hugely successful CBeebies pre-school TV show “Grandpa in my Pocket” starring James Bolam.
Under the newly launched Corgi Toys sub brand, Hornby will produce an extensive range of Grandpa in my Pocket toys to include; plastic vehicles and figurines, play sets and Diecast vehicles. Products will hit retailers’ shelves autumn/ winter 2013.
Masterminded by Adastra Creative Limited, 66 episodes of Grandpa in my Pocket have already gone to air. It has been nominated for a BAFTA on three occasions and won the Welsh Bafta for best children’s programme. The show has proved a huge hit in Australia and other territories. It has now sold to over 104 countries.
