
Welcome to the Corgi range for October 2010 – March 2011
The new range from the Aviation Archive represents some of the finest examples of quality die-cast scale model manufacture and design, synonymous with the name Corgi and designed for the discerning collector and aviation enthusiast. Highlights include the Vickers Valiant, the third of the “V” Bombers to be modelled by Corgi. To further extend the range we are also pleased to announce some significant tooling modification including the 1:32 scale Mosquito and the Spitfire MkII variant. Helicopter enthusiasts will welcome the release of the Westland Whirlwind in 1:72 scale.
In Hauliers of Renown we have the first releases of the new Seddon Atkinson Strato/DAF 95 classic truck tooling featuring the livery of well known hauliers Gibbs of Fraserburgh and Trevor Pye from Shropshire. In Truckfest, this catalogue sees the release of the Wayne Catt Transport’s Scania T Cab. The range that celebrates the golden age of Steam with the superbly detailed Burrell Showmans No.3910 Crowther and Johnson’s Flying Pigs on Tour ‘Wait and See’.
The Original Omnibus Collection range features the newly tooled Caetano Levante in the hugely popular National Express livery as well as five dual destination models including a South Shields Crossley DD42.
The highlight of the 1:76 scale Trackside range is the newly tooled Coles Argus 6 Ton Crane, this iconic model is the latest new casting to be added to the Trackside Construction collection. Other new additions include; three new fire engines to the Trackside emergency services collection and two new models for the railway range, including an LMS liveried RB19 Face Shovel.
In Vanguards, our Classic range features the newly tooled Ford Sierra XR4i in cardinal red livery. The hugely
popular Ford Capri once again rolls off the Corgi production line this time in black. Our police offering features arguably the most famous pursuit car in police history – the iconic Subaru Impreza Turbo. White van men –
put down your newspaper and sausage roll and take a look at the Ford Transit Mk1. The motorsport series celebrates two iconic vehicles; Golf GTI and arguably the quickest car to feature in this series, Roger Clark’s
motorsport Subaru Impreza RCM.
Also featured are new releases in the Colin McRae and Mini Mania ranges.
