P & C Hamilton began trading in October 1982 with the purchase of a second hand Seddon Atkinson tractor unit, doing traction work out of Ireland. The company now operates a modern fleet of vehicles from their purpose built premises on a 1.5 acre site in Girvan on the Ayrshire coast.
Their fleet is currently comprised of Scania Rs, MAN TGAs. DAF 95s and Scania Ts including the superb cab modelled here. The trailers are all 13.6 metre Gray and Adams reefers, some of which have dual temperature capabilities. The Company’s core business is the transport of fresh and frozen food stuffs throughout the UK and Western Europe.
